WellD Italia is looking for an Oracle PL/SQL developer to join its dev team in Milan. This is a mid-level position requiring a minimum of three years experience with Oracle and relational DBMS.

What tech we use
We currently work with Java (BE), ReactJS (FE), and Oracle (DB) - exploiting git / gitlab and the use of docker / containerization. For this specific position, we need someone with good knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL Programming. Experience with Java is also appreciated.

We promote Agile Development with a formal process including Code Reviews, Pair Programming, and Continuous Delivery. We care about software quality, and have a proper methodology / pipeline to assure it is always achieved. We do not just-code-it, we design it.

What you'll do
- Develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL codebase for custom software solutions.
- Collaborate with the development team to design and implement database solutions that meet project requirements.
- Perform database administration tasks as needed.
- Participate in Agile Development processes, including code reviews, pair programming, and continuous delivery.
- Contribute to the design and architecture of software solutions, ensuring high-quality and scalable systems.
- Engage in open source initiatives, sharing knowledge on the company's Tech Blog and contributing to open-source projects when possible.
- Work closely with clients in various sectors including Energy, Industrial, Finance, and Health to understand and address their challenging requirements.
What we're looking for
- Minimum of three years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL development.
- Strong knowledge of relational database management systems.
- Experience with database administration tasks is appreciated.
- Proficiency in Java (Back-End) is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git/GitLab and containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Passion for technology, with an analytical mindset and a desire to continuously learn and improve.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
